the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India issued a notice

On April 6, 2023, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India issued a notice that the first anti-dumping sunset review of high tenacity polyester yarn originating from or imported from China was final, and proposed to continue to impose anti-dumping duties on Chinese products for a period of 5 years, with a duty amount of US$0~528 per metric ton (see attached table for details). The Indian customs code of the product involved is 54022090. The anti-dumping measures in this case do not apply to the following products: yarns less than 1000 denier, yarns greater than 6000 denier, twists, colored yarns, adhesive reactive yarns greater than 1000 denier and yarns with high modulus and low shrinkage (HMLS) properties.
