Pakistan will reform current tariff policy

On Nov 19, 2019, the cabinet of Pakistani government approved the national tariff policy to reform the national tariff management system and adjust the starting point of formulating the tariff policy from increasing the national fiscal revenue to promoting the development of trade and industry. The policy will be gradually implemented in 2020-2021 fiscal year.
