In its efforts to expand its business, John Lewis, the British clothing retailer, has announced the hiring of 3 senior professionals.
Of the 3 senior appointments, Steve Masterton has already assumed the office of Director of Online Trade.
With a rich experience of working as digital director at Arcadia Group, Dunelm and BHS, Steve will be instrumental in the e-commerce growth of the retailer across all categories and services.
The fashion retailer, reportedly, has plans to invest £50 million in its website.
Besides Steve, John Lewis has also hired Stephen Spencer as its Director of Store of the Future. Stephen, who will be assuming his office in July, is presently working at Lululemon as Director of Real Estate, Store Development and Strategic Sales.
The retailer believes Stephen with his experience and knowledge will help rebalance its store estate in addition to making the existing stores better places to shop.
