Sinopec Great Wall Energy and Chemical Industry (Ningxia) Co., Ltd. successfully completed the BDO transformation project

April 15th, Sinopec Great Wall Energy and Chemical Industry (Ningxia) Co., Ltd. successfully completed the BDO transformation project.

The up-to-standard transformation project in Ningxia is to carry out local revamping of the original BDO plant and the supporting project of the new alkyne unit, which solves the production bottleneck problem exposed successively since the BDO plant was put into operation, such as insufficient design capacity, short catalyst replacement cycle, poor equipment stability and so on.

After the transformation, the BDO capacity will increase by 45000 tons per year and reduce the unit consumption.
