Peru issues preliminary finding of anti-dumping investigation of polyester fabric against China

According to the Trade Relief Investigation Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce, on August 25, the Committee on dumping, subsidies and non-tariff trade barriers of Peru's National Competition and Intellectual Property Protection Agency issued notice No. 190-2022 in the official daily Le Peruvi. The preliminary anti-dumping decision was made on polyester fabrics originating in China and decided to impose a provisional anti-dumping duty of US $3.93/kg on the products involved. The products involved are grey, white or dyed 100% plain polyester fabrics with a width of less than 1.8 meters and a unit gram weight of 80-200 grams per square meter. The Peruvian tariff numbers are 5512.11.00.00 and 5512.19.00.00. The relevant measures shall take effect from the day after the announcement and will be valid for 6 months.
