History has seen creative solutions during times of stress and struggle. This time around, as the COVID-19 pandemic cripples economies worldwide, British Fashion Council has announced its plans to revive London Fashion Week in a new format.

According to a recent post on Instagram, the council suggested that the current schedule of London Fashion Week will be taken to a digital-only platform.

The platform will cover all the fashion shows that are set to display the collections in the next 12 months. It is suggested that the schedule for the coming fashion week will include menswear as well as womenswear making it the first time in decades where the two will share the spotlight.

However, this also means that the Fall/Winter 2020-21 season will see some changes in terms of timing and schedule. The Instagram post also mentioned that the platform will be accessible to all and they will be updated on the launch of the platform once signed up.

The platform is set to launch on 12 June and will see formats like videos, images, podcasts and interviews with the designers for them to showcase their stories of their brands and collections.
