Invista Nylon adipic dinitrile (ADN) production base was officially completed in Shanghai Chemical Industrial Park (SCIP)

On November 25th, 2022, Invista Nylon adipic dinitrile (ADN) production base was officially completed in Shanghai Chemical Industrial Park (SCIP), after a long period of preparation and construction.

As the largest investment project in the history of Invista, this production base marks the formation of a complete nylon 66 value chain, which supports the acceleration of high-quality upgrading of China's chemical industry by assisting the localized production of nylon 66.

The total investment of the project is more than 7 billion yuan (more than US $1 billion), with an annual production capacity of 400000 tons of ADN and is able to support an annual production capacity of 800000 tons of nylon 66.  It uses Invista's most advanced "butadiene process".
