The 2020 Global Cotton Sustainability Conference - which was due to be held in Lisbon in June - has been postponed because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Better Cotton Initiative (BCI), which organises the event, has decided the conference will now be held in the Portuguese capital city on 2–4 March 2021.
BCI leaders said the decision had not been taken lightly but felt it was the most "responsible approach" to safeguard the health and wellbeing of staff, members, partners and stakeholders.
