Disperse dye intermediate price doubles

According to the professional printing and finishing encyclopedia, the price of the major intermediate of disperse dyes (2-amino-4-acetylaminoanisole) has increased from 40,000yuan/mt to more than 10,000yuan/mt, up more than 150%. According to statistics, disperse black ECT 300% was quoted at 30,000yuan/mt last week, up 1,000yuan/mt, 3.5% higher than that in previous week. And reactive black WNN 200% was offered at 23,500yuan/mt, up 1,000yuan/mt and 4.4% higher than that in previous week.

Huachuang Securities pointed out that after the Chinese Lunar New Year holiday, the downstream printing and dyeing mills resumed work. With the continuous progress of production resumption, dyeing factory showed firmer willingness to replenish stocks. However, there was logistics restrictions, and the spot supply in some areas was relatively tight. At the same time, affected by the delay of resumption, export dye orders backed up. At present, disperse dyes manufacturers tentatively quote up. With increasing cost and demand, it is expected that the price of disperse dyes will continue to rise, and the leading companies with complete production chain of intermediates capacity are expected to reap benefits.
