Chinese cotton yarn imports reached 58.7Kt in July, 2022

In July 2022, Chinese cotton yarn imports reached 58.7Kt, decreased by 40% m-o-m to the lowest point 38.6Kt this year, and only accounted for 35% the same month last year. Up to now, the total imports this year reached 750Kt. Order chance was hard to appear again in short term amid the surge of exchange rate, and imported yarn volume is expected to shrink month by month gradually as international cotton prices fluctuated at high level.
