China's CPI down 1.2% in March

According to National Bureau of Statistics of China, China's consumer price index (CPI), a main gauge of inflation drops 1.2% month-on-month in March, compared with an increase of 0.8% in Feb. In March, China accelarated work and production resumption, propelled transportaion and logistics recovery, and ramped up measures to stabilize supply and price. The food price was down 3.8% month-on-month in Mar, ccompared with an increase of 4.3% in Feb, driving down CPI by 0.9 percents.
