Why is benzene so special out of all the chemical market? It seems unreasonable. Some market insiders think it is because that major suppliers have controlled domestic market and stopped imported resources outside China. But actually imported benzene prices are basically per domestic market level. It is hard to tell the specific reason. But benzene price is too high for most other products, and when benzene has dropped below the psychological line of 5,000yuan/mt, the bubbles would be soon punctured. It has been proven by the free fall since late Feb.
