Especially factories located around Dhaka, in Narayanganj, Araihazar, Madhabdi, Ashulia, Savar, Gazipur, Sreepur, Bhaluka, Chittogram and Kumilla area were facing an average of 12-hour halts due to gas scarcity as they were functioning through captive power generation
